try, 4.1?
i have a wintv2000xp card... when i use the cards software it only plays through the front speakers....
the front speakers are wired to the green line out jack on the motherboard(sp13000)
when i play something using windows media player it works fine all speakers and the subwoofer...
the other thing is the onboard sound card is setup for 5.1 sound but i dont want to use the center... currently the subwoofer is going to the right subwoofer and the center is going to the left subwoofer... i guess i could fix this by rewiring it to use the same rca for both left and right sub but is there a software solution?
i dont think there is a 4.1 only 5.1 but ill see
i have this card and the sound you are only getting out of your front 2 speakers is a stereo MTS hardware encoded signal designed for stereo (2 speakers) setups to enhance spatial sound. kinda like when something plays in dolby surround for 2 speakers on a television. from experience, the only software that correctly plays the hardware encoded sound is the Winfast program that comes with it. ive adjusted to it and you can get rid of it if your system is set up for desktop stereo speakers and run all speakers from 1 audio out jack splitting it multiple times.
acutally whats wierd is i got my fm tuner to kinda work with radiator... so when i use centrafuse it plays through all the speakers but centrafuse has alot of bugs... the radio tuner is one of them so its not easy to tune in stations...
