QUICK!!!11!1!oneone Which motherboard should I buy?

Ok, Here's the deal. I just figured out that I want to go with onboard video instead of the 9600 pro i was intending to use with my computer.

I had settled on this motherboard:
ASUS P4V8X-MX Socket 478 VIA P4M800 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail 47$

It has support for the 2.4 ghz chip I already have, s3 unichrome graphics, and is based on the via chipset. It was all going well until I thought, hey, what sort of similar board can I find with better onboard video.

I came across this board:
ASUS P4P800-VM Socket 478 Intel 865G Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail 82$

Turns out it's based on the Intel 865g chipset, which I would think would be better than the via. What really turned me onto this motherboard is the intel extreme2 graphics onboard.

Will the difference in performance make up for the difference in cost?
Which board would you go with?
Please back it up with reasons, especially if anybody has any comparative experience with both onboard video chipsets in similar computers.

You really do need to learn to make your own decisions.

Personally, I prefer Intel graphics over S3 graphics, as a general rule. As far as Intel vs Via chipsets, I have no preference.

Intel integrated chipsets can do 800x480, if that's important to you. Not sure about S3.

Look. I can make my own choices, but I like to make an informed decision. I have no experience with any sort of onboard video, as I've always had high end systems with no need for these specifics. I tried searching, but to no avail. I even looked on toms hardware to see if I could find either chipset on a VGA charts.

I did my research, came up short, and stuck my neck out in hopes of finding someone that has some first hand knowledge on the subject. I understand that the people on this forum answer the same questions, but there's a point where it turns from trying to help people help themselves, to just being mean.

Darque answers a TON of newbie questions and usually does it very politely unless you do something to annoy him. In this case it might be your thread title.

I dont doubt it. I even went out of my way to thank him for his service to this community in one of my other posts. I have alot of respect for him and what he does to help out here, it must take up an awful lot of his time, and I (and surely others) appreciate that.

I apologize if I came off ingrateful, because that's far from the truth sir. You're a good guy darque, and thanks for all your help so far.
