before i make a start I want to try and plan each step of the way properly just to ensure i havent missed a step and then realise i cant do what i wanted to do!
at present i have an alpine 9812rr head unit with my 2 12" subs plugged into. now if I have a car pc how do i physically link it to my head unit?? i read it has an iso adaptor and/or AI-NET ?? but there are also 3 sets of RCA, front back, sub.. I assume RCA is likely going to be the option, (although im not sure how i would switch sources then for the unit ..) but as ive not seen any pc cards with these i assume there has to be some form of conversion, 3.55mm jack to rca ? but this would only be stereo, i could split each of them so they run stereo on the front and back sets? is there a way to just link them all in proper setup?
the next problem for me is then to buy a touch screen just a difficult decision on where to put it
would appreciated any ideas or suggestions from those who are in the know!
Just buy an external input adapter for you aline head unit (pretty cheap) and hook your computer sound card up to that.
