I don't mean to disrespect those who are putting many hours of hard work to create the front ends out there, but it seems that if you want to build a windows based entertainment machine Media Center is the best way to go. I don't actually own a copy, and I figure someone here must have, so my question: does windows media center do everything that our front ends do?
Some of the things that I am not sure that Media Center does: let you install stuff after OS install, GPS navigation in an elegant way, let you use iTunes to play music or to sync with an iPod instead of windows media player. Next time I'm in a computer store I think I'll check out the Media Centers, and try to answer all these question my self, but any thoughts before then is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: oh ya, it also has to work well with WiFi. Although I am sure it does.

Thanks for the key words. Sounds like it was a big pain in the butt so I'll stear clear. How about searching through the forums for reasons why people don't use Windows Media Center Edition (hint! a.k.a. MCE)
