This is just a guess here, but perhaps this is what you're looking for? HON03/PC-SON 2003-06 Honda Changer Interface/Auxiliary Adapter
Again, I'm just guessing, I'm not even sure if that will work with your car.
I recently purchased a used 97 honda civic ex(45k) which has a factory tape player. I learned that if i removed the factory tape player that the keypad would no longer function. So i check the back of the unit(tape drive) and saw this white multipin connecter which i believe is a cd changer input.
What i want to do is simply plug an mp3 player into my car would this be the best way? Which adapter do i need and do i even know what im talking about? Will i be able to pull audio from the cd changer plug just by pushing the cd/tape button on the radio?

This is a forum that focuses on installing cvomputers into vehicles. Aftermarket audio equipment for your Honda isn't the specialty here. I tghink you might get a faster response with more information by posting on a forum that focuses on either Hondas or Car Audio specifically.Originally Posted by dx11101
That said, you were given a solution, although not ideal in your book. Yes there are other solutions, but that is likely the best solution that the respondant could come up with for you.
If you want a simple solution, get an FM modulator or a casette adapter and rock on. If you want a decent solution, then you've got some research to do.
