Download the manual and take a look: http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/ma...ds.jsp#manuals
Usually it's an option in the driver and it turns the Line IN and Mic connectors into outputs for the multiple channels.
Ok so i have a via epia m10000, it says on the mp3car.com store that i can switch it to 6 channel output? how do i do that?
anyways i have one of those 3.5mm jack to 2 rca adapters like in the faq
HOW TO: Get sound from PC to Car Stereo / Amp
but i have 2 amps, one for subs and one for speakers
but i only have one line in on the motherboard? so how do i connect both amps? do i just get a 3.5 to 2 3.5 adapter, then stick a 3.5 to 2 rca on each jack?

wow, thanks for that link, hehe i could use that usb 2.0 driver
i cant believe i didnt check there for drivers in the first place
btw tv out, means i can output through rca right?
For drivers also check out Via Arena: http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2
I don't have that motherboard but that RCA can either be a TV OUT or a digital audio out, right? But yes, if using as a TV/Video out then you'll use RCA.

ok so i did what it said in the guide, but im still not getting any output from the "sub" and rear speaker outputs
i installed the new audio drivers too
btw how do i flash the bios with this board?
edit: ok if i check the magic 5.1 thing, it works but the volume is sooo low, you can barely hear it, wtf?
Check all the volume sliders/faders in the windows audio control panel (like the WAV, Master, etc....)

You're likely going to need an in-line booster if you are going to use a headphone jack to RCA coupler. The voltage coming out of the headphone jack is likely too low and needs to be boosted. Some people do this by buying a crossover with built in pre-amp boosters and others opt for a soundcard that features RCA jacks to begin with. I know that Creative carries an external USB soundcard with RCA output but I don't know where to buy them. Try Googling and see what you turn up.Originally Posted by Bboy_jon
