how to connect a device to Computer

Hi!!!!
I have just finished installing system in my car, I want to know that can i view the temprature of engine on the LCD, im gud at programming in VB but dont know what hardware to use for this problem and how to connect it to computer.

you are "gud" at it? doubtful...

if you want to view the "temprature" of your engine, you need to get an OCB2 Connection for your PC

every car has some sort of OBD2 computer (required since 1995.. right?), just hook it up and you get all the dianostic information the ECU has

First, I am sure he wants to VIEW it, not FEW it. And, it is OBD2, and NOT OCB2.

Phew, tragedy averted.

Nope, not quite. Dianostic" is spelled Diagnostic"

But yes, his message seems correct. Use something like the "OBD2 All-In-One Serial PC Scan Tool". That should do it.

Hey!!!! how can a person not be good at VB programming.... I have done a lots of projects but actually no hardware programming in VB......
How can I get information from ODB2 to my computer? What do I need for that?
