No.
Hey fellas,
Im new here and have never really tried adding onto my sound system except for speakers, subs, amp, etc (all the usual stuff) I have a JVC head unit which is compatible with the JVC aftermarket I-Pod interface (JVC KS-PD100). What I am wondering is if it is possible to take that interface and somehow make it able to read off of a hard drive(USB) so I could just mount it in the dash with all my music and let it be. If anyone knows if this works or if anyone know any other ways to hook a hard drive into a JVC deck that would be awesome.
So it isnt possible to trick the interface into thinking the hard drive is an ipod by cloning the ipod file system or anything?

But, there are some head units that have USB connections on the front that you could hook up a USB hard drive to and play MP3's off of that...
