Someone told me>> Running an amp off the same power as your radio is probably not the smartest thing to do. An amp + radio will draw too much current. I'm surprised you haven't popped the fuse yet. You should consider run the power wire for the amp directly from the battery (fused of course). Running too many devices off any one factory wire is pushing it as it was only designed to run that one device with a little headroom.
You'll see two small wires that have bare ends. One is the ground and one is 12v +. Those are the one's you'll need to hook up. Don't reverse them or you can pop the monitor.
Im very sorry guys I'm not techno savy, which wire is the ground and which is the other??? And how do I power the monitor then if I dont used the factory power radio output?? Thanks sorries not techno savy.

I have to deal with some clients that are just so clueless that it's painful to have to help them. Nothing like walking a retired grandmother through doing a VREPAIR on an old-*** Novell 3.x server....

Step one is determining which is which. I based my response on the need to determine which is +12v and which is ground.
DP Sorry to see you are still having to support Novell 3.x servers...We just dropped our last one last week. Now to start replacing the NT4's
Seng...didn't mean to hijack your thread.... DP is right...If you are not familiar with 12V+ vs ground and how to determine...You should absolutely see a professional. You can fry your equip or worse burn down your car if you short a non-fuse protected wire.
