    hi
    i would like build my first car pc,
    can you tell me if this hardware is ok?

    for tv i have find a good promo for alpine touch screen :

    and for car pc



    80W internal and external power supply unit

    EPIA ML8000A C3 Ezra 800Mhz processor.

    Hitachi 80GB 7200 RPM hard drive.

    Memory 512MB PC2100 DDR266.

    PCI riser

    for moment without slim dvd

    what do you think is good or better if i change something?

    please help me i'm newbie!

    i would like use it for mp3,some dvd or divx , gps and if is possible tv and radio maybe for a rear cam!

    that alpine won't work for you as it's not VGA compatable.

    You need a VGA compatable screen else you won't have any fun working with Windows.

    tell me more about your PSU

    sounds like more than anything you haven't found the right places to look for product, and that you havent done ANY research on this board, which is a BIG no no.

    but TME-M860 is vga and touchscreen !
    are you sure is not compatible! sigh! i have found it in a very very special price!

    VGA refers to the resolution the monitor can support in this case. There is no VGA input, only RCA video. RCA video sucks for a PC as a general rule. With tweaking, you can get a marginally OK image quality, but no better.
    The touchscreen will not control the PC, only the headunit functionality.
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

    but for hardware pc what do you think?is good? or better upgrade some part?


    another question, but epia have 2 ways stereo out (for audio) but for listen audio in a car i need an amplifier? how can i connect audio out epia?(the rca from epia to xxx what?

    ok - again I say - use the search function - that very basic of questions has been covered hundreds of times it seems like.

    read the FAQs and study. This isn't a project that you can just buy the parts and throw it in a car all in a weekend.

    You need to do quite a bit more research it sounds like.
