    Are you sure your civic alternator will be able to handle all of those components? I would add all of the amperage up and do a rough comparison. your setup doesn't sound too bed but then again I have a truck alternator that cranks out a good amount of amps for my tow package (trailer) and what not. I don't know what car alternators usually crank out. Just make sure you're not straining it or you might need to go with a bigger alternator.

    How do you intend to power it?
    Celeron D's suck a fair bit of power.
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

    You obviously haven't thought this through yet.

    Check out the FAQ Emporium and do some reading. I recommend reading everything that might even come close to possibly relating to your setup. You can never learn too much.

    Only thing that comes to mind is OVERKILL with the screens. If you got one up front, why the two visors? Or if you got one fold down I guess for the back, why the sun visors? Or why have the front one with 2 sun visors... When will you ever need 4 screens? If Anything, go one up front with one in each headrest. That's more than plenty.

    And as mentioned, a stereo alone is enough to strain the alternator, throw in a buttload of watts for the computer and then power all those screens. I bet you'll end up with a PS2 or Xbox in there too, and eventually upgrade your door speakers. Power is one of the issues for your car working in the end, and the amount of screens is a secondary, not so important issue, but doesn't make sense to me.

    Check my sig. I went with a Celeron M instead of the Celeron D I originaly planned. I am able to use a 90w PSU now. And I even use a 128mb MX440 for the ocasional game that uses 30w of that. Mobo was $60, CPU $25, CPU adapter was $50.

    I see the Pentium M line as the perfect blend of power and efficeincy, finding a middle ground between the desktop CPU's and the VIA's.
    {Xenarc 700TSV} {Celeron M 1.3 ghz} {ASUS mATX mobo w/CT479} {MX440 128mb AGP} {1x512mb RAM} {3.5" Seagate 40gb (rated at 350 G's)} {M1-ATX}

    so....you didn't upgrade anything else other than the battery?

    JUST upgrading your battery won't be enough, afterall, if your alternator can't keep up and charge the battery all while providing power to the rest of your car while running, what good is your battery then?

    what's the rating on the stock alternator?

    yet again, it sounds to me more like someone wanting an extension for their geek penis....WAYYY over kill

    why in the hell do you need a screen in the front, a drop down screen AND screens in the visors?

    leme guys, you're the guy that rides around with all the screens on when you're the ONLY one in the car....
