    powerdvd hardware acceleration

i'm trying to turn on hardware acceleration in powerdvd, but i can't. it says that you can only enable hardware accleration in stop mode...which i can't figure out what that is...i tried simply stopping the player, removing the dvd, reinstalling, and can't find out what stop mode means. anyone know what stop mode is and how to get into it?

btw i searched and nobody mentions what stop mode is

It means you need to stop playing a file/dvd before you can turn it on.

i'm not playing a file or dvd though...i thought that was the logical explanation but nothing is playing and it won't let me do it...even the first time i open the program after installing it
