alright i'm pretty new to this and not sure what im doing, but i will throw out my idea and maybe some one will tell me if it can be done.
I have a 2005 honda civic and i want to be able to use my stock stereo with just a plain LCD monitor. I then want to use an ipod video as the source of video instead a dvd player.
This is what ive thought of so far. Take out the storage tray beneath the stereo, move the stereo to the bottom slot, then put a single din Lcd Monitor on the top slot. I know i can hook the ipod to the stereo for audio, but i dont know how to make the video work through the monitor or is it even possible.or will th emonitor even fit corectly in its slot. and how do i powerethe monitor.

Cool site but i can't afford a $140 ihome deluxe. Navigating on the ipod is fine for me.
Do you know how the LCD monitors are powered?
did you do this.
i am working on it too.
most lcd you could buy
on ebay are dc should be able to
wire them right in as long
as they have a componet input.
like this one , i see no reason you
could not take ipod video right into it
