1 carputer to control 4 monitors?

Hey all, what kind of video card will let me run 4 monitors on one carputer? I'm looking to be able to show any application, on any monitor.
    Thanks for the help

Various mfgs make dual/quad head video cards. No idea what your running or what slots you have open. So you could run two dual vgas or one quad.

A lot of normal video cards (ati, nvidia) will do both, even if on is only composite/svideo.

Try googing "dual head vga" or "quad head vga"

    Multi-monitor video cards

Standard dualhead cards are available from all major manufacturers, including ATI, Matrox and Nvidia. Special-purpose multi-monitor video cards are available from the following manufacturers:

    3Dlabs
high-performance dualhead cards with multi-monitor OpenGL support.

    Appian Graphics
offers 2- and 4-port AGP and PCI multi-monitor video cards, and a PCMCIA video card for laptops. Reviews are available for the Jeronimo 2000 and the Traveler.

    Arbor Technology
Their Vision-X card supports up to 4 monitors from a single PCI slot.

    Colorgraphic
offers a range of 2- and 4-port AGP and PCI multi-monitor video cards. See the Predator review @ SysOpt.com for more information.

    Datapath
2- and 4-port multi-monitor cards, optionally with TV and video features.

    Enseo
2- and 4-port AGP and PCI video cards. Specialized cards for MPEG playback.

    Matrox
MMS series of professional dual and quad cards. The Parhelia drives up to 3 monitors.

    Nvidia
Quadro NVS series of professional dual and quad cards.

Hope that helps, google their names to find out more information.
Thanks to http://www.realtimesoft.com/multimon/products.asp for the information.

If you have the space, all you need is 4 video cards (assuming your running windows) and windows will handle the configuration...hell you could get $5 used vga isa cards if you have a pc with isa slots in it and it will still work. It will do exactly what you described in your opening post. The only catch is hardware resource availability in your pc. But just try it and it should work

Or two video cards with dual-out, like many ATI cards offer.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

Yeah, but they're also going to suck a lot more CPU horsepower, as well.
