Hello there (introduction)

Hey there, I new to the forums and new to the CarPC seen. I am 14 years old and from Manchester in the UK. I know you probably think Im very young but I like to learn everything before I can go out and do a project based around it. When I am 16 (1 Year and 4 months), Me and my father are going to buy a Ford Fiesta (2006 model) and kit it out; lower, alloys, paint job, spoiler and CarPC etc < -- the reason I came here.

This year I built my first Desktop PC:

AMD Athlon 64 3500 @ 2.65GHz (OC'd)
Asus A8N-SLi Premium NF4 SLI SATA
Antec 480W TruePower PSU
LG All Formats Dual Layer DVD-RW
nVidia GeForce 7800GT 512MB "Goes Like Hell"
Blue neon glow look with Side window

I know lots about hardware and have repaired PC's both in software and hardware terms. I am currently learning Visual C++ desktop programming, and I have experience in Visual Basic 6/.NET & web programming (HTML), PHP, Java.

I also like to use Adobe Photoshop & Cinema 4D for digital art & professional website designs.

I hope I have said enough and not too much about myself and Im sure I will learn lots over the year(s).

Currently I don't have any clue about Car Electrics, but with my dad being a mechanic (automobile engineer), we will work together to create my ride

Well welcome to the forums. Good to know that you are smart enough to not just dive in and screw stuff up. I think a year and a half is a good amount of time to read the forums and understand how to do it.

I'm sure you'll be overwhelmed with all of the information that's available on these forums. Good thing you've got a ways to go! By then, who knows what options will be available out there in terms of products....yummy!
