Question Finalized List - Right Homologation???

This appears to be the finalized list of components for my first build. I hope it's a good blend of products that will work well together and that it's not a product that has a poor track record or will be OLD technology the day after the build.

    Commell LV-675D Pentium M Mini-ITX Mainboard with DVI [LV-675D] $245.00

    Toshiba 100GB (1032GAX) 5400RPM Laptop Hard Disk $160.00

BUFFALO WLI-CB-G54HP Wireless Notebook Adapter $40.00

Travla C156B Mini ITX Case w/ 200watt power supply $150.00

    Already ordered/purchased;
Mp3Car TRANS 7” VGA transflective (sunlight readable) monitor $679.00

I believe that I'll be using Roadrunner as a Front End and possibly IGuidance 2.1.3.

Have I forgotten anything or need to consider other options/components? Hate to find out right after the build that there were better suited components.

Judging from your power supply choice, I suggest you read this: FAQ: Will <insert PSU model> Power Supply work with my system?

You're going to need a laptop-IDE adapter for the HDD. You may know this, but it's not on your list.
Also, if you're going to se iGuidance, I'd suggest v3.0, which is the current version.

LAstly, as a general rule TV reception in the car will suck balls.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Hmmmm, I thought I made concessions for power requirements and then some. I think I've over done it wrt PSU, but it leaves me the flexability for future considerations. I believe the heat generated by it will be directly proportional to the current draw .... is it not? Did I make a poor selection here?

Ya your right and the builder has already got that in hand too.

I only chose iGuidance cause it seemed the most popular and it worked well with Roadrunner. Although, I think there were concerns for the Canadian members since it's a US driven product. I don't think there's one that's uniquely suited for us canucks.

I know it won't be great but with the introduction of an external antenna, I thought it would be reasonable.

Does the rest seem to be a good combination of components?

Did you read the link I supplied at all?
Read the part about the PW200M, please.

Usually, Navigation packages are packaged with all maps for the North American continent. That includes Canada.
I know for a fact that iGuidance ships with Canadian maps as well as US & Mexico. I used iGuidance 2.13 previously and was disappointed with how out-of-date the maps were. I don't use iGuidance 3.0, but I would like to believe that the mapset is far more up-to-date. It is for that reason I recommended the newer version.

    Your mileage may very.
