    No Power!

    Okay guys,
I just completed my first carputer and I must tell you I'm super stressed out. I finally got everything going and now that I put all my panels together in my g-35, the computer will not start. I double checked the ground and I also checked to make sure my remote wire was connected and everything looks good. When I connect the carputer using the power outlet everything works great. Am I missing something? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

you should have 3 wires connected. one wire to a 12v constant. one wire to a 12 volt turnon. and one wire to a ground.

when you were testing were you testing with the power supply your using in the car or were you using a desktop power supply?

also what power supply are you trying to use in the car.

YOu really must give us as much information as possible.

Did you test the unit before instalation? How?

What is the hardware you are using?

Detail information about how you wired the car? How did you connect the wires together? Fuses. Did you blow any fuses. Have you checked the fuses. Do you HAVE fuses. What gauge wires.

    What is happeneing, anything?

See, we need LOTS more information.

"I plug it in and it doesn't work..."
    *sigh*
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Check your fuses, dude. I can't count the many time I've plugged something in and it didn't work because I forgot to replace the fuse in the line. Also, ensure wire are connect properly.

they werent exactly smart *** comments. you asked a question while giving only about 5% of the information needed to help you out. if your vague in the question you ask, expect the responses you recieved. be specific, and include as much information as possible to recieve the help you need. with that said, Im glad you figured it out.
