I have read some writeups on XM radio but I was curious... Does the software, such as the frodo software, intagrate with the XM receiver? Can you see a list of channels on the screen and save your favorites?
I am about to purchase XM and I am just a little confused. Can someone help explain this to me?

The ones that you connect to the PC are usually the XM Direct recievers, with either a bought or hacked serial cable. Some software is available to directly interface, to my knowledge the 'frodo software' you speak of is one of them, as well as Centrafuse, and I believe there are various 3rd party softwares as well.
