If you're having trouble understanding the manual for the PSU (which, by all accounts is pretty darn clear), then you're going to have a seriously rough go of it....
Could it be a language problem in that the manual is in English and that's not your native tongue?
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

red = 12v line from the battery. make sure the wire can handle 15amps and that you have a on the battery side.

white = ignition line (so the one that goes on when you put the key in and tick it one or two ticks)

black = find the nearest point on your car's chassis, and connect it there (make sure it's nice and clean and a good connection)

what kind of wire to run to the batt? 8/10g? i've read some stuff about putting a fuse there? should i also add a 15A fuse to the wire connecting to the battery? also i've read about tapping into the fuses for the ignition. how would i do that?

and hey, i made the effort. i read 15 pages of stuff. it's 6:13AM here. i can't really absorb anything.

    take a break!

Im' not sure about 8/10g, google to see how much current those wires allow.

as for igniotion fuse, it's always a good idea to fuse stuff, and to do it as close to the source as possible. I personally haven't fued the IGN line, but I think you should!

    1. if you have the money, go with the m2-atx, more power for future upgrades

    2. depends what wire you use, of the amps its able to carry

    3. use a wire that is more than capable of the amperage your system will draw, if you use barely enough, you can have problems, and besides, if your like 99% of the rest of the people here, you'll want to upgrade in the future, and if you already have sufficient wiring, then thats one less thing to change in the future

    4. connect to the battery with some thickkkk wire, 4-8gauge, then run that to a distro block somewhere close to your pc or amps or whichever, then run smaller wiring to the pc (distro block for already said upgrades )

On the 12v line, but not the 5v line. The 5v line has more to offer on the M1.

Don't forget distance, BOTH play a factor.
