Two quick newbie questions about carnetix 1900

1. How do i find out how many usb devices i can power off the laptop hooked up to my primary output on the carnetix? (the usb devices that do not need external power)

2. How do i find out how many usb devices i can power off the cnx-p5v add-on?

Use a multimeter to measure the power draw. for each USB device.

2. How do i find out how many usb devices i can power off the cnx-p5v add-on?

That depends on the total power draw of all your USB devices.

All that said, most USB devices draw minimal power. There's a spec for it, but I don't know what it is. I'm reasonably certain you can search the forums and find out.
