Most of them are on-board, no card to install.
i have a question about soundcards
in all these mini pc cases im seeing that dont use a radio, where are these sound cards being installed on the comp?
if anyone has any photos of this, that would be a big help
i searched for "sound card" but i mean a million results showed up, please help if you can, thanks !

for the most part would you say they are 5.1 sound cards?
unless im looking over this info, or its called something else, i dont see those details listed on any of the minipcs'
Can you link to where you see these mini PC's?
Depends on the motherboard. Read the specs for the motherboard used in teh miniPC and it will tell you.
You're overlooking it.unless im looking over this info, or its called something else, i dont see those details listed on any of the minipcs'
Just as an aside... 5.1 is pointless in a car unless you want it to be a rolling theater or a show car.
Rolling Cinema :-) YEAHHHHH

I have been entertaining the idea of replacing my on board sound of my M10000 with a ZX Aud. 2 card.
Think I would get any better sound quality than the on board sound going to a head unit? The sound now is very loud, and clear. But it feels like mid-range bass isn't coming through, and some words are hard to understand sometimes.
well what im most concerned about is a way to hook a sub up to the computer, and as far as i knew you needed a 5.1 card for that, but now maybe irealize im mistaken
I use a Creative Home Cinema Cable, it gives me from the card, RCA's for Front, Rear, Centre and sub.
