1. Yeah sounds good. You'll probably want a screen too
2. Streetdeck uses destinator maps, and I am pretty sure destinator has maps of aus
OK, so i am new around here. I have 2 questions.
Q1. Will this setup work?
-VIA EPIA ME6000 LVDS Fan-less Motherboard
-M1-ATX 90W Intelligent Vehicle PSU
-Ultra Low Profile 512MB DDR400 DIMM
-Western Digital Scorpio 40GB 2.5in 5400RPM HDD 8MB Cache
-Panasonic CW8124 Slotload 24x CDRW/DVD Drive
-Black Travla C134 Mini-ITX Case
(I read on the mini-itx store that the travla case is din sized)
Q2. Are there any Street Deck compatible maps of australia?
1. Yeah sounds good. You'll probably want a screen too
2. Streetdeck uses destinator maps, and I am pretty sure destinator has maps of aus

Wrong. StreetDeck uses MapPoint 2006 maps.
I'd post in the StreetDeck forums about whether there are maps for Australia. I really don't know.
I wouldn't recommed runnign StreetDeck on that software. It is one of the more CPU-intensive frontends available. That 600mhz motherboard might make not be able to take it.
Where did you purchase all this components for your car pc in Australia? How much that cost you?
I am from australia too ... but not able to find any resource in Australia.
Which front end r you going to use it ... if its a road runner and you are using free drive then all destinator maps supported by road runner
Uhhhhhhh....Which front end r you going to use it ... if its a road runner and you are using free drive then all destinator maps supported by road runner
Did you see that he asked specifically about StreetDeck compatible maps? That would kind of imply that he's interested in running StreetDeck as a frontend....
ohhh yeah.. it uses mappoint. one of the reasons why i dumped streetdeck for rr yet again.

I haven't bought it yet, but i found all the parts on the mini-itx.com store. added up (without monitor/software) is about $AUD1135. I am planning to use street deck because of the awesome interface.
BTW: I am only 13, but i am the nerdiest 13 year old you will ever hear about. Oh, and I am going to ask family and friends if they want on (for the funding)
P.S. There is an australian supplier for mini-itx. I think it is www.eyo.com.au
I need to know about the mappoint maps! i couldn't find any relevant things on google.
