I was thinking about getting this and mounting it under the seat of my car...I would get a touch screen and such for it. Any suggestions? bad idea...good idea?

Looks pretty nice. I cannot comment on the quality of the build, but the specs look good. A few notes, the drive is only 40gb, I don't know about you but I would feel bad having a CarPC with <= the space of a (relatively) cheap iPod. You still need a way to power it and you are going to be stuck with using an inverter unless the PSU conforms to some standard and I doubt it does. On that note, you may have difficulty setting up a power on/off circuit for it.. maybe not. There aren't any details on the sound card. It is worth making sure it is reasonable. You don't want to get stuck with a ****ty sound card for audio equipment. 2yr warrantee is nice. Looks good besides these issues.

you can customize it though...here's my specs:

    -Intel Celeron M 410 Processor, 1.46 GHz, 1 MB, 533 MHz, tray
    -512 MB DDR2 SDRAM, 533 MHz (1x 512 MB) as option
-100 GB SATA hard drive, 5400 rpm instaed of standard
    -Double-layer DVD+/-RW drive
    -Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945AG PCIe mini card, 802.11a/b/g

and then for sound it has onboard. If that isn't good though I will get an external sound car such as this:

or I believe creative also has a USB version?
