Where do you buy OEM dash bezels to modify?

Where do you order OEM dash bezels so that I can chop and bondo all I want without worrying about ruining my only dashboard?

I have a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue and I'm going to try to put a carputer in it with a touchscreen. I just need the center piece, not all the interior trim.

Why dont you try ebay? Theres a good chance someone'll have one there. Either that or you can just take measurements and try to make your own custom one, if you cant find any anywhere.

A junkyard would be a good bet. Also, Trim pieces depending on the complexity of them, are not all that expensive new from the dealer.

If worse comes to worse, there's always a dealership.
I'm certain that would be the most expensive route, though.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

I already looked on ebay and they dont have anything. I figured there was just a site somewhere that sold dashboards since they have a site dedicated to just about every other piece inside a car. lol

    oh well I'll look around

The only place I know for sure I was able to find one was when I called my local GM dealership. The downside is they want $40 just for the bezel. It's a pretty sizable piece with spring clips, but I still think that's a little steep, but that's the only place I've been able to find one.

I tried calling wooddash.com, they make custom painted dash kits for a billion different cars, and they said they couldn't sell me individual pieces, and definately not unpainted ones.

I wasn't able to find anything on eBay and so far I haven't seen any website other than GM dealerships that sell replacement OEM pieces.

I think I'm going to just cut into mine without ordering another one. If I mess up and it's just not fixable, then I'll order one from the dealer, otherwise I'll just hope for the best lol

What exactly are you trying to cut into its already a double din? Why not get a in dash unit... try www.autonode.com or ebay has some double din vga touchscreens.

$40 doesn't sound bad at all for a Bezel, especialy from the dealer, I payed like $80-90 for mine, my local dealer wanted $150.

I have a 1.5 din so it'll need some modification. Plus in order to have the touchscreen, head unit, and climate controls all on the panel that previously just had the HU and climate, well, it's gonna be cramped.
