Because every time i use the psu calculator it tells me no. so are there bigger power suplies with startup and shut down controlers.

4) Is there a front end that will support what i mentioned above and executes the funcions well with 2 people using it at once.

Just to give you an idea of what im working with, im going to be getting a CRX and i cant explain to you all how excited i am about this project. I am rebuilding the car from the ground up and cant wait to start the PC/Audio phase of it. I have been searching th forums for some time now and i love this place. All help will be extremly apreciated. Thanks all!

1.The latest dual cores would work great. You want to try to target the low end of the latest stuff as to save power.

2. Probably just USB support touch screens are a lot like mice.

3. The DSATX Should have no problem in most setups. Just try to keep power in mind when choosing the CPU. The more heat sinks and fans the more power. When choosing a video card, chose one of the lower end ones that don't require active cooling. Graphics these days are taking more power than the CPUs..

Number 1 thru 3 is doable. But 4 is a little complicated. You gonnna need 2 sound card and configure the second sound card to the media player that you are gonna use for the second monitor. That basically it. If you using a front end like RR. Make sure u dont use winamp to play music on the back monitor. Use another media program and set that to another sound card.

You may be able to do #4 with a single card, I know with either my audigy 2 or soundblaster live! 5.1 (forget which, probably both though) in my home PC's I can direct some sounds to the front line out and some to the rear line out, not sure if specifict programs can be set to always go to one or the other, but then you could have front line out to your car speakers and rear line out to the headphone jack.
