Complete newbie to car audio need help!

Hi guys, I am a sound engineer working in London which mean I love my music.

I have recently bought an ‘Apline’ ipod ready system and have bought component speakers, amp and sub.

But I don’t have a clue how to fit it all I am on a tight budget so i cant afford to get some to fit it all for me, hence ask you guys.

I am guessing my bass tube will fit on too channels on my amp and my front speaks with crossover (what ever this means ) to the other two channels then the amp to my head unit. A guide would be ideal or just general help from you guys.

Thanks in advance hope you can be a life saver.

    Alex

    Moved to Car Audio.
You must understand that these forums are focused on installing computers into vehicles.
There are a good number of members who are very well-versed in car audio and installations, you're far more likely to get a timely response by posting on a forum that's devoted to car audio specifically.
    Good luck.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
