It's really the other way around. The computer will send the signal to the amps and then to the speakers.I'm thinking it will go like this:
From all speakers to the 4ch amp
From the sub to the mono amp
Can I hook the amps together? and send ONE signal to my computer?
If your PC has 5.1 audio capability, then this can be accomplished. You'll have Front L/R, Rear L/R going to the 4-channel amp and the Sub going to the sub amp.
Bear in mind that most music files (mp3s) are pure stereo, and without software tweaking, you'll not get any audio from the rear channel.
Use a headunit. My main flaw in the plan is how will I hook up the car's speakers to the computer if I don't want to use an amp. I know how to wire the mono amp to the computer, but how would I wire the stock speakers to the computer without the use of an amp?
You have to have something to amplify the low-power signal coming out of the computer's audio hardware. That is, unless you intend to listen to headphones while driving, which is not recommended (or legal).
