Motorised Touchscreen

Hi guys,

Im kinda new to the car pc thing, and am looking to build my own.

I have a pretty low spec laptop, which I can run a dvd drive externally from.

I am looking to get a usb touch screen single din which will fit in my dash. anyone got any good, budget ideas?

Also, how will I get the radio functionality, unless the screen comes with a built in radio?

If there are any screens on the market that will function in this way, are there any with a built in speaker output system instead of just the preamp RCA jacks?

For the single din flip-ups, eBay. Seriously. You have to use eBay. If you don't you will go broke. You can snag one for $200-$300 with AM/FM radio tuner built in. Now keep in mind if you go that way with the radio built in, then you can only hear the pc or the radio. Not both at the same time. So if you want to listen to the radio and get navigation prompts, too bad you can't do it that way. You can use the HQCT radio which goes through the radio.

I live in the uk, and have looked on ebay, all the models are from hong kong, which isnt a problem, but theyonly seem to have built in tv not radio??

that screen is what im looking for but doesnt have a vga input, therefore its usb port is more likely for software upgrades/memory stick reading isnt it??
