Hmmm, I have had something similar. Check Windows Task Manager and see if there are 2 instances of winamp.exe running. If there is, then end one of the processes. Other than that I have no idea.

Hopefully this is a simple problem (unlike my others).
After a reboot of my machine, winamp no longer produces any sounds from *playing* music. I first noticed this in RR and then when I tried using winamp by itself. Sounds are produced via the control panel and in RR I get the voice teling me it's trying to run a command.
I did use thefunction (using "winamp no sound", "winamp music", etc) but didn't turn anything up.

it turns out that the volume in winamp had been reset to 0 (not by me...).
