Welcome to the forums!
Evening guys...
Just came about this forum, looks really good with a lot of useful infomation!
I really have loved the idea of getting a carputer install my my Audi TT.
At the moment i havjust had fitted a Kenwood KVT-627 flip out touchscreen screen! and i would love it attach a small pc to run off the video of the screen and able to use it via touchscreen?!
Is this even possible with my monitor? On the hideaway box it has a input for Video? What would i need to do?
If you would like some photos of my setup i will try and get some across!!!
Many thanks

i assume it doesn't have a VGA input, which is going to render anything you display on it to be very difficult to read. Certain applications that were written with NTSC output in mind like windows media center and apple's front row can be functional but the output just won't be as crisp as with an actual VGA display. As far as using the touch screen to control the PC, it can't be done easily.
Now granted, with a certain level of electronics expertise, you can achieve all things with what you have, but otherwise it's going to be very similar to my setup which uses an Eclipse AVN-5435 as it's display. I control the PC through a Griffin Powermate knob.
