Adding analog input signals(from a potentiometer) to a PC

    Hey Guys,

Well i've been recently toying around the idea of putting in a CarPC into my custom s10. The truck has air ride suspension along with digital gauges from Dakota Digital for the airpressure at the airbags(again SUSPENSION NOT SAFETY). Im pretty sure that the signal is just a voltage variation like a potentiometer. Is there anything i can use that would allow me to have 5 inputs so that i could interface the the sending units into a program for my CarPC to display the air pressure levels?

Phidgets boards are the first thing I'd think of (for commercial products at least)

8 analog inputs, 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs, and a 2-port USB hub to boot. Probably a bit overkill if you're only going to use the analog, but... I'm sure someone else can recommend something similar that has just analog inputs if needed.
But don't take it from me! here's a quote from a real, live newbie:

hmmm... kinda pricey but it MIGHT be able to do what i want. I have to see if the output of the senders are 0-5V but im pretty sure it might be 12V(but who knows) Because the i know the senders ground thruogh the NPT thread connection and theres 2 wires, so prolly a reference 5V and then the output wiper. I'll have to meter them when i get the truck back on sat. Now if i get really crafty, could i also program it to use the digital outs to trigger relays. Maybe pick up a few SS relays and wire them up with this and i can controll a few valves. I mean in that case, id be making alot more use outta the $100CDN for this product... I'll have to do alot more research on this board and quite possibly have to make a 5V elec sub-system for my truck.. we'll see
