Ok well I am very interested in doing a car PC setup in the near future but I wanted to start getting info on it now so when it is time to get my hands dirty I know exactly what to expect. I have a 2003 G35 Coupe and I was thinking of getting the whole 700TSV setup with the housing that drops right into my car. But I had some questions on what exactly I would need to get to get this whole thing running. Obviously I would need to get a computer setup and the screen but other than that is there much more that I would need? I was hoping to build my own computer and then buy a power supply for it from this site but it seems like its almost cheaper to get a whole setup from them and upgrade it.
So what do you all think about the install? Anyone know a good place to put the computer in the g35 coupe?

Hows the project coming along? I have a 2003 g35 sedan. Im pretty sure its 2003.5 because of the SAT button. I was also planning to do a caputer install. ive checked Caelric's links and that seems way more fabrication then i planned on. I was thinking about putting the computer under the passenger seat and buy the housing and a 7" TS from mp3car.com. to get audio from the computer i would use and PXNI/aai-nis2. the only problems i am having is understanding how to power both the screen and computer. you have any ideas?
