    Replacing Stereo in my Ranger

Ok well I got a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT with extended cab. It had the stock Radio in it...But I bought a Pioneer DEH-P4800MP CD player.

Well I got it all installed with all the speaker wires correctly connected with great connections. I used a Ford Wiring Schematic that matched perfectly. The prolem is that My truck as the Ford Premium Sound System.

I was told that the reason no sound is coming from my stereo is because i need to connect the Factory amp on my truck. I do have some wires left over but do not no what to do...

Can anyone help me out? I would really appreciate it.....and yes i already cut out the factory harness and got myself into this mess...

Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
