Power calc. question

i am running:

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3200+ & ECS K8M890-M Motherboard
Hard Drive
External USB Dvd-Rom--usb device
1 stick ddr2Memory
120mm fan
80mm fan

i tired many calc. but they all give me different watts , my question can i run with system with m2-atx.

no usb devices at all on this?

isn't that AMD a pretty power hungry beast?

and how off are your power calculators you are using? If they aren't too off, I'd take an average of em and go from there.

i am using the dvd rom as a usb device,

i used http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp calc and that is giving me 117 watts.

then i used http://www.journeysystems.com/power_...calculator.php and that is giving me 166 watts.

I used the same powercalc's and I don't think they're accurate..... I came out at 500+watts and I'm using a 300watt PSU......

keep in mind that those calculators are taking into account everything running at full tilt at once.

in the car, you'll hardly ever have that happen.

either way, I'm waiting for my soundcard to arrive so I can hook it up and test the whole damn thing, the way it's gonna be built inside my car, on the 300watt PSU before buying the PSU.... I hope I'll manage with a DSATX thogh.... cause everything is running via USB, except for the sata HDD..... So I can't hook up a second PSU if needed...

I'm not aware of that....in fact, I've purchased it for the upgrade I'm doing right now.

is the m2 a good psu, all over the forum people are complaing of having problem and killing mobos. i just need something basic to power the pc and maybe the lcd.
