Newbie question (moved from a threadjack)

Hey sorry I cant help with your prob, but do you keep the inverter in the trunk or in the car somewhere under the seat? Also, you said you've done these before. Are there any major downsides to using an inverter rather than a DC-DC PSU?

Don't threadjack, and search the FAQ's for your inverter questions. Inverter is a no-no for a short answer. Read the FAQ to figure out why.

Dude, start your own thread with your own questions. Sneaking in a completely different question in somene else's quest for information and assistance is poor etiquette in general.
