Thread: Another Newb! Advice on first Carputer!

I recently bought an Alpine IVA-D310RB and all I can say is......"I want it gone!". Its rubbish in every sense of the word. Graphics look like they are from 1980's and general Interface is pap!

So, here is my dilema. I'm good with building and setting up systems, so don't see why a car PC should hold me back.

My budget is around $1200. For that I need:-

Single DIN 7" Touch Screen fold out TFT
Componets (need most help here as to what will work)

I don't really need software as I'll be using a customised Media Portal install on XP Pro.

I'd like GPS, TV (I'm in UK), FM Radio and Wi-Fi.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
