    M1-atx keeps rebooting pc

Ok lads done alot of searching on the forum but I can't see anything relating to my problemMy M1-ATX power supply arrived today and i set about wiring it.I'am powering it from an old atx power supply which is still hooked up to an old pc.I have the earth connected to the earth on the molex connector and the live to the live and then to switch the pc on i connect the switched wire to the live...no problems yet if your following me.Then to swithch it off I disconnect the switched from the live and it shuts down BUT THEN RE-BOOTS STRAIGHT AWAY.

Is there a problem with the way I have it hooked up or what and would it be different when installed in the car????

I'am installing the pc in the car at the weekend and don't want to have this problem then.

    Help please.

    PUNCTUATION!!!

I cant really read what you typed so I will just say that I think that maybe you should really try disconnecting everything first then try booting it might be to much power but I am not sure if there is a problem or your just hooking it up wrong so the switched power isnt really off or live

Sorry you can't understand.I'll try again.

The system boots up fine but when I shut it down it restarts itself.

Do you have S6 (I think it is) hooked to up to the switch header on the PC?

Ya I've got it hooked up.

I have no problems when I use it as a normal psu with no jumper,it powers up and down. When I connect a jumper it shuts down and reboots.

Are you sure it's hooked up to the power switch pins and not the reset pins?
