everything is good until i run map monkey.
the gps is in com4.
when i select find gps in map monkey it says gps found but the only port i can select is port3.
and of course the gps doesnt work.
(it also sais that the com is busy and i f i try different settings to make it work then it crashes and needs re install)
in fact if i press ok it says low signal and it doesnt show me the right posittion. (where i am)

any ideas why i cant select in map monkey the com4 for the gps?

try forcing the com port of the gps to a different no ie com1/2/3

goto device manager, 'ports' and select your gps, then goto 'advanced' and change the port from there
