What do you guys think about this system:

Or would it cheaper and better if i buy all the pieces separtly? TIA for you input. This will be going into a 2001 civic

Unless I totally misread something, it seems that the processor in that thing is 200Mhz. If that is the case, don't get it. You need something at least 5x as fast to run Windows in any decent way. It has no DVD drive. It doesn't have the power to RUN DVD's anyway, so I guess thats good. Even if it runs Linux, which for some reason it includes both? As soon as you hook up any form of front end, you'd be straining that processor like woah. Especially if you tried to play any form of video on it.

Looks like a decent system to me- except for the "200 MHz CPU". I wonder if that's a typo. Given that the board has 8xAGP and DDR400, the CPU seems out of place.

It's also strange that the item description links to digitalww.com but I don't see that system on his website.

Video with shared system memory from 4MB to 64MB vs the agp 8x image ( do they even make onboard agp 8x with 4mb of ram? )

3 USB 1.1 Ports vs the usb 2.0 image.

200mhz processor vs hyper threading image

The images are just there for ppl who cant read and he might fool them into buying thinking they are getting something awesome I guess.

200mhz is from my 15 year old IBM probably
no dics drives
128Mb ram...whats the point?

I am with kevinlekiller on this one, it was made to make people(who don't know jack) buy them thinking they are getting an awesome deal.
