Live updates in Google Earth

I've written a small php script that scrapes the database for rendering in google earth. Here's a little video showing how it works:

Since that video last night, I've also added a "target mpg" box, and it then colors the trace based on whether you're hitting that or not:

I've updates this to include live gauges as you're driving. At the moment it still only renders one, but all the code is there to let me do more, I just gotta fix the cosmetic layout issues:

If you have google earth installed, you're welcome to give it a try. Just visit this page:
http://icculus.org/~chunky/livekml/livekml.php

The defaults should get you going [the only thing you might want to change is the update rate, from four seconds to one]. Just click submit, and load the file it gives you in google earth.

The code is, as always, in my svn repo. It requires php's "gd" module, which is available by default in most distros.
