How often do you Google yourself?

Get your mind out of the gutter. It will not make you blind or give you hairy palms.

Seriously, how often do you search your own name in Google? I do about once a month or so...Shows up in some very interesting places. The Google USENET archive has articles I wrote in 1994!

Sometimes when I'm really bored I search friends, ex's, etc. Though often the results make me wish I hadn't.

Same as you - once a month to see how popular I am
( I'm not very - only my personal sites and one archive with all the hams that passed the HAM RAdio exam with me - nothing else )

Well when you get 21,000 results like me, it is really no use.

I look for myself from time to time. With the dejanews archive online fulltime its interesting to look back at old topics and some of the price I bought and sold things for. I found netnews postings back to 1984 (yes 84). Boy, I bet I am dating myself. How many of you were born in 84?. I was online before that. I dont think the dejanews archives went back past that though.

Results 1 - 10 of about 150,000 it seems that there is an actor out there with the same name as me (he has not been in much but since I try to keep my name out of things and his name is all over the place it is hard to find myself on google.

I had never googled myself so i decided to give it shot. Apperantly I:
-Had a mildly succesful college basketball career with the Volslink
-Dipped into my acting career with such blockbusters as Dr. Sexy Knickers
-Am a character in the exciting game "Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns" (this also means that my likness is copyrighted ) link
-Will be graduating from Wartburg College in december '01 with a degree in busisness administration. link
    - Held a brief but fullfiling teaching position at Cootes Store Schoole #31 from 1929-1930. Link

    - Am an aspiring artist, link
    - Am one ugly bastard...link
    - And last but not least, i can't draw

This was fun. I never knew there was so much information about me on the net. I will have to continue to check up on myself to see how my many adventures are going.

P.S. I also found a couple of entries that where actually about me, buy they where all brackets from debates i was in in high school.
