Thread: -=New Years Resolutions=-

1) Get the CarPuter in the car.

2) Replace my top of the line, 11 year old, Kenwood Car Radio and changer that has been having a multi-tude of problems. Or fix it, but hey I got spending priorities. First Puter, than house.

3) Buy a house. (Must have 2+ garage.)

4) Furnish house.

5) Maybe marry the girlfriend. Or get engaged some year anyway.

I don't usually make new-years resolutions, but if I did:

1. Start saving for a DeLorean

2. Get a girlfriend

Of course, as others have pointed out, #2 conflicts with #1. However, it is entirely too long since I have had a girlfriend, and just because the last one ended....badly....does not mean that I should avoid girls forever (note to self: this time, don't get engaged).

1) Find the mney to build a CR-VTEC engine for my rex, before my girlfriend's brother does (better still, get him to build mine )
2) Give up alcohol
3) lose a good 20kg...

1) get new carputer installed - radio is ****ting me and G/F after only 4 days with pathetic Melbourne DJ's
2) finish the backlog of commercial website(s) work I have to do... and there is alot! But thinking of the money will get me thru
3) maybe a new car / or purchase a house to move out (with G/F in that case)
4) spend less time on the puter, more time enjoying life
5) manage my time ALOT better - and stop 'chasing my tail' as it would be.....
6) get really drunk on NYE/NYD


hey Aaron, whats the going rate on a good cond. DeLorean nowadays? I got the Back To The Future Trilogy Box set DVD's from my G/F at christmas (whoot!) and im back in love with the movies and the car the more I watch it, I would have to say its one of my all time fave movies, if not my no. 1 pick...

1) get you and actually learn how to drive, so my carputer will have a purpose.

2)install my carputer

3) keep my grades up so i can get into post seconary edu next year.

my carputer wont do that much good without me being able to drive. ive got my road test booked for feb 14th, so i should learn how to drive before that.

Hear hear! this man knows what he's talking about. Err.. not that I know from experience.. yeah, that's right.. not at all... *whistles*

in no particular order:
1) Try to maintain my weight at around 200lbs (or even try to put on a few more if I can stay lean).
2) Get a new job and/or go back to school.
3) Keep up all the hard work that has gotten me healthy so I can stay this way.
4) Finish working on the Maxima
5) Stop drinking.. even that one beer will make me sick apparently
6) with regard to about 20 projects: **** or get off the pot.

1. Lose another 15 lbs or so
2. buy more reliable car (preferably 91-96 9c1 caprice)
3. Get job
4. Get a girlfriend (This one is fairly common it seems)
5. Actually DO something with my two domains

seems like we all have similar goals ;-)


1) get back down to a slightly more comfortable weight (damn those dining halls and their bland, yet high fattening foods)
2) Get a girlfriend (probably not, but perhaps dependent on #1)
3) Make a bunch of money over the summer (buy laptops from me!!!)
4) Save most of it (conflicts with #2 and #5)
5) Work on exhaust for my car and scrap the old char lcd mp3 player and put in an lcd touch system

Hopefully we will all make it... Somehow I have a feeling that there ARE really girls out there who like guys who have large earning potentials and play with cars and computers.... ::SIGH:: hopefully we will all find one for ourselves, (and that someone will be better than the last, awful ex)
