...looks like the communists are winning... I don't think they'll be taking bets on that in my town, it's pretty much a sure thing. The whole Dems/Reps things was just a distraction.

You cant be a US citizen if you are a communist.

Seriously... They ask you if you have ever been part of or believe in a communist party. Say yes, and you cannot be a citizen. Land of the free eh?

you can if you were born in the USA. And there is no law preventing foreign communists from becoming citizens, but you may be right in that they will tell you no in favor of somebody else.

Oh but there is. On the actual legal citizenship papers, there is a box just for that. One of my boss's friends did not understand english very well when she filled it out, and marked yes. Guess what she was denied after having passed the first part of the test where you answer questions, write sentences, listen to phrases and other things.

are you going to post a reference for this mysterious law? because I know there is no federal law as that would seem to be unconstitutional. Like i said I don't doubt that they would deny them citizenship for their political alignment, but they reserve the right to deny citizenship to any non citizen. I just find it hard to believe that I am usually well informed about this sort of thing, and I have never heard of any such law. so please may I see it?

I dont know of the law, but the box is right on the citizenship papers. I am sure they can be downloaded somewhere.

Some people when given a chance to come clean, or under similar intense scrutiny, offer up small, insignificant, shiny, lesser transgressions, to throw you off the trail. Applied to choice, that's what I think is going on with this election.

As a patriot, I hope for something better, and I know all the reason why I should vote...

But I sure hope I will have more substance to go on between now and then. So that at least I can say I made the best choice I could with what was appearant to me. As it stands, neither's convinced me. It just looks like stupid entertainment TV to me.
