The bottom end is stock. Cleaned up the head a tad when I had it off to do the gasket a couple years ago, but nothing you'd really call porting. Turbo is a Mitsubishi TD04H-15G running at about 15 PSI with a simple air-air intercooler and water injection at 5 GPH. Fuel injectors are 465cc/min, ECU is a Megasquirt 1 running HR10G code with an Innovate LC-1 wideband, ignition is a set of OEM coil-on-plug modules liberated from a Camry. I lathed a custom adapter hub to mount a generic 36-1 trigger wheel on the front of the crank to replace the factory cam sensor, eliminating spark jitter due to timing belt flex (which I measured at close to +/- 5 at the upper end of the RPM band on the stock setup.)

That motor is finally starting to show its age, so I've got a '99 block and head in the shop that I've decided to build up with forged rods and lower CR pistons, to deal with a bit more power. Presently, I'm thinking in the direction of twincharging with an MP62 and a GT28xx or GT30xx series turbo. Also picked up a used 6-speed transmission, as they're supposedly good up to about 350 HP. (The early 5-speeds routinely break at 300 HP and below, and mine's certainly making some noise.) We'll see.

Mine isn't flashy. But it gets me from A to B - and it's never broken down on me in 8 years.

Now it doesn't have but it will have soon. I decide to paint a phoenix on it. Phoenix is cool! I even use it as wallpaper. Actually I got my first diamond 2 beacuse its default wallpaper looks like phoenix.

I was completely dissatisfied with all available solutions for real-time GPS on a 3D topographical map for off-road expeditions. CarPC was the only way to go for me.

Maybe I'll try Moab with a blindfold... lol
