    current workspace (dormroom)
Dual 21" on my dual MP desktop w/ file server next to it. I Have this nasty habit of ripping DVDs and HDTV broadcasts that makes such a physically huge system necessary.

Best part of multiple monitors for me is that with VNC/remote dekstop/SSH I have lots of space to connect to multiple systems.

    Ahhh yes. Nerd at work.

See that windowfan over there? Yeah, there are 5 systems not in the picture, running over in a stack to the left of the leftmost speaker. This is an experimental Beowulf cluster composed of old Dell Optiplex GXa machines. So three primary machines (ALEXIS is atop the right speaker) and the other 5 make for some nice heat. Gotta vent it somehow, right?

Ok, here are some pics of my office...

desk.jpg - My desk, on the floor under the window is a 3com Superstacker 24 port hub, firewall, web/ftp server, and cable modem.
wall.jpg - Continuation of my office.
rack.jpg - The wife made me buy a rack because I has too much ***** laying around. I also ended up "donating" about 6 pentium pc went I cleaned up (yes, I stripped them )
wifespc.jpg - This is my wifes computer, right behind my chair. And before anybody says anything there really is not anyway to fit another desk in the room. We are in the process of building a new house and all I can say is the new office will resemble a small NOC.

I vote aultl's spot as the ultimate h4x0r room. It's cluttered, you can't discern one component from the next (camouflage), and it's dark! Neo, are you ready to follow the white rabbit?

If you look close you can see a goose neck lamp on the left side of my desk that shines on my keyboard. Normally that is all the light I use. And I have done quit a bit of _legal_ hacking, programming and QuakeIII until I looked up a realized there was daylight on the other side of the blinds. The next thing on my list of upgrades is a multi-monitor setup. (Que evil laughter...)

Edit: I aplogize for not having an empty Mountain Dew Code Red container visible.
