What is this car part called?

When I got my fog lights installed, they had to install an accessory button switch that turns them on and off. My car had two openings for those kind of switches - they just have dummy plastic covers in them so there are no gaping holes when no switches/buttons are installed. Now that I installed my carputer, I used the other plastic cover, drilled a hole in it and installed a switch that way. However, i wanted to get rid of the fog lights switch (I don't use them anyways, and they weren't worth it - long story), but I can't find the plastic dummy cover.

So my question is, do those dummy plastic covers have a name? If I were to search for them online, what would I search for?

Depends on your car make and year. But I would check any local junkyards, you might be able to find them for a couple bucks.

They are called switch blanking pieces and are specific for your make and model of car.
As mentioned above, the car wrecking yards would be the best easiest place to look as these parts are usually not a commonly wanted item and there should be planty around if the yard has your model of car.

The easiest answer is call the dealer. Even if they "bend you over" for $5 or $10 bucks, I'm not sure it's worth the extra effort to go to the junk yard to save $5, unless you live near one.

Thanks everyone. I have a Toyota Yaris 2007 - first model that was sold in US, so unfortunately, I don't think junkyards will be filled with them. I'll see if I can find some online, otherwise I might have to call a local dealer or maybe a local car shop - I bet Corollas and Camry's use the same part.
