117 in a 45 on radar and walks!

Yes, it's true, I'll get to that in a minute. I need everyone to please watch this show tonight and every wed night at 10:00

    http://channel.nationalgeographic.co...ad-scientists/

Tonight is the premier episode, next week the 12th is MY EPISODE! This show is about people who do crazy things in their garages. The best part is there's no bull****, no magic. My project failed miserably and that's what you'll see on TV. It's all about how us motorheads think and solve problems. Spread the word!

These guys want to promote what we do in a truthful real manner. Lets show them some support! Lets burn up facebook and the other forums and get as many people to watch this as possible. hey're already thingking about next season, they'e already approached a few of my friends. If anyone has a chance to get on this show just do it!

These guys had Public Safety block off the road going through my neighborhood 9:00 am while traffic was backed up with people trying to get into Fort Gordon. (sorry, don't like to disrespect the military). Then they said as long as I stay in the 45 mph zone and stay on the pavement I could do whatever I wanted. And they also said FYI the child care building is a 1/4 mile from here.

That's all I needed to hear! My son poured down some bleach and I did a burnout that made my van look like a comet! It's been 6 months and the burnout marks are still there! When I passed the radar I clocked 117 and I was still pulling! How could anyone not support a show that does things like this?

Please watch, if it thrives, we get more!

Yes, it was in the jet van (featuring products from mp3car.com... shameless plug) There's more video on the same page below. The air powered dragster from Speedcult is my favorite!

    Chris -
I saw your episode of Mad Scientists last night (courtesy of the DVR)....

While the jet-powered yard tool was pretty cool (albeit ugly as sin), I have to ask a couple things:
1 - How much are you out from blowing two turbos in one day?
2 - How much flak did you get from the producers for the propane tank/flamethrower stunt?
3 - Who ended up cleaning your yard?

It's pretty cool (the show and the jet-powered yard tool)... Sorry you weren't a "winner" in the whole deal.
Looks like it was a lot of fun!

They were cheap junkyard turbochargers and they covered all the damages. The second turbo was OK, it had a plastic window in the side so we could study the burn pattern. We use plastic because it will fail slowly. Glass would hold up longer but it would fail quick enough to get a good fireball right in the face of whoever's looking in the window. That windowed turbo was never meant to run that hard and long and the window got soft and it started loosing boost. The producers were cool with the propane stunt, we had fire people around. Yards still a mess. About the drag race with the host and his minivan- after I blew him away the cops pulled him over for drag racing. They got it all on camera. John was like "wwwwhat are you pulling me over for that other guy had a jet didn't you see the smoke and fire" and the cop was like "I didn't see that sir license and insurance card please". They let him go with a warning but it would have been funny to see that on the air.

I hope you guys enjoy the show and please show your support by watching Wed night and please find me chris krug and the show mad scientist and the jetvan on facebook and show your support! Thanks!
