    For all of you in the UK...

    How would you calculate the miles per gallon (US standards) for this car?
    For the new RangeRover Evoque Deisel

    Fuel Economy: eD4 Manual Evoque
    Urban mpg (L/100km) 47.1 (6.0)
    Extra urban mpg (L/100km) 62.8 (4.5)
    Combined mpg (L/100km) 58.0 (4.9)
    CO₂ emissions (g/km) 133

    1 US Gallon (Liquid) = 3.785 Litres
    1 UK Gallon = 4.546Litres

    Therefore

    1 US Gallon= 3.785/4.546 UK Gallons


    so 58 mpg UK equates to 48.29 mpg US

    we would just use Combined mpg (L/100km) 58.0 (4.9)..

    fyi that is a really good mpg.. my car does about 27mpg at the mo.. :-(

    So, I found this...

    I find it REALLY crazy that a RangeRover can get 48.01mpg combined... even as a diesel. That would mean it does almost as good as a Prius... That's insane....
