    Attach amplifier to sub box?

Is there any reason to not attach an amplifier to a sub enclosure?

vibration MAY over time, shake components loose in your amp.

If you have expensive amps then I wouldn't risk it

I've been using several different 15's (CV, Soundstream, RF) for over 2 years now with the same CV amp attached to the box. No problems so far. But like frodobaggins said, if you're lucky enough to be running Macintosh amps, I wouldn't risk it.

i heard that the wood of the box can actually "flex" when ur bumpin hard and cause stress on the amp. So i think you are attach it near an edge of the wood if there is no center cross plank of wood, or in the middle if it has one. (assuming it is a 2 sub box)

i dont know where i heard this, but i think it is good info too share. im no expert, but it makes sense.
