well, sorta.
I filled out the paperwork for my Research Assistantship which gives me about $8500 cash over the next 12 months (paychecks are good).
This Assistantship also waives tuition and out-of-state fees, which total about $14,000 for graduate school.
And, when I got home, my student loan stuff was here--$8500. and since I dont have to pay for tuition, that's pure bank (that I have to pay back)
looks like i'll be gettin a newer car soon :)

Funny you should mention that, I knew a guy that had a white T/A and was going to get it painted and make a KITT car. He showed me a web site where you could buy a scanning light bar for the front and the dash with the digital gauges and two small tv screens. This was a few years ago, the technology is far enough now you could probabally have the vioce control and have two vid cards for the tv's (or replace them with lcd's)Quote:

That was probabally it, its been a long time since I have seen the site.
That is why it would be better to DIY, you could setup all the leds and displays to come from one voltage source so it could be dimmed. You could actually set up displays and buttons to interface with the computer and do usefull stuff.
